Start of Fish Creek Realignment

KGL will be realigning a portion of Fish Creek near future bridge structures. River realignment is a common engineering process that creates a new, permanent water channel. This will allow for the construction of the SWCRR bridges, while minimizing impact to the Fish Creek’s habitat by providing a bioengineered channel comparable to the river’s original path.
ENMAX Utility Relocation
ENMAX Power is constructing a new 138 kV transmission line in the west boundary of the Transportation Utility Corridor that will replace existing transmission infrastructure.

As preliminary construction continues for the Southwest Calgary Ring Road, KGL Constructors is building a new project site office, parking lot and equipment yard. This will be located within the transportation / utility corridor (TUC), adjacent to Bullhead Road and just north of the Tsuut’ina Nation Administration Building.
